How to Refer – Domain Dermatology Telehealth
For Referring Clinicians
Referring your patients to Domain Dermatology is straightforward, and we accept referrals from across Australia.
To refer, simply provide your patient with a referral addressed to Domain Dermatology or to Dr William Cranwell. Your patient can then visit our website to book a telehealth consultation at a time that suits them.
Our team takes care of the rest—from appointment confirmation to post-consultation follow-up.

If you have any questions about a patient or would like to speak with one of our dermatologists before making a referral, you're welcome to get in touch—our team is always here to help.
In cases where in-person review is necessary, we can assist with organising a suitable face-to-face appointment through our network of trusted clinics.
We know how important ongoing communication is in shared care. That’s why you’ll receive a clear, timely summary—usually within two working day of your patient’s telehealth consultation.
For Patients
We accept all valid referrals for skin conditions—even if they’re addressed to another dermatologist or clinic.
You’ll still be eligible for a Medicare rebate, and your GP will be kept informed through a consultation summary sent directly after your appointment.
Need a new referral? Your GP can use the details listed above, and they are welcome to name Dr William Cranwell or simply Domain Dermatology as the preferred provider. We are also able to accept referrals addressed to different dermatologists, as long as the referral has not been used already by a different doctor.
Once your appointment is booked, we’ll send you a brief pre-consultation form where you can upload your referral and any relevant photos.
